Regional Digital Director, Business Region Asia-Pacific
As the Regional Digital Director for the Asia-Pacific region, you are expected to provide leadership and vision to define and drive the regional digital marketing and e-commerce activities. You will be responsible for leading the regional digital team as well as developing and managing the regional digital strategy in line with global business unit and business region strategies, identifying and implementing key elements to grow Fiskars digital presence in the region, including digital marketing, direct and indirect e-commerce channels, and in-store digital solutions. The Regional Digital Director shall also support regional management on exploration towards industry benchmark in digital, providing insights on technology solutions, e-commerce systems, product and services, advertising and branding techniques, analytical applications and operational processes, working cross functionally to coordinate execution and synergy of effort from supporting departments. In this role you will report directly to the Resident, Business Region Asia-Pacific.
Major Activities and Responsibilities:
Your key responsibility will be the Digital strategy for the Asia-Pacific Business Region based on the overall Business Unit strategy and the global marketing communication and media strategy as well as setting up and follow-up of KPIs and reporting. You will be expected to take a strategic view of the digital marketing and e-commerce landscape, keeping current with industry best practices and trends. You will define the Asia-Pacific digital marketing roadmap with focus on building brand awareness and content marketing, build the platform, development roadmap and resource plan for the brand websites for regional markets, digital content, digital marketing activities, and social media communication channels. Another key activity will be defining the regional e-commerce strategic roadmap, developing and implementing an e-commerce strategy with the aim of transforming it into a profitability driver. In this role, you will be accountable for the overall regional digital strategy and lead the e-commerce channel growth, driving e-commerce sales growth, share and ROI growth in the region. You are also expected to set growth targets and KPIs (e.g. volume, value, share, margin, click-through-rates, ROI).
As a team leader you are also expected to set up and develop digital marketing and e-commerce team routines, KPIs and performance evaluation. You will be expected to seek and provide feedback and coaching to enhance performance while developing your team for skills and capabilities for their current and future roles. Finally, you are expected to create and lead the Asia-Pacific region's digital way of working within the whole organization which involves the Business Unit, regional marketing and sales units.
To succeed in this Position we you to have:
Education Degree: Master's degree or equivalent in e-Commerce, Marketing, Business Administration, Digital Media, or related disciplines
Experience: 10 years+ Consumer Goods/FMCG/Retail/or relevant industry knowledge with 4 years + of leadership experience and 8 years+ in digital marketing and e-commerce operation and management, experience in B-to-C online retailer or multi-channel retail environment is an asset
Experience with digital marketing and online retail, key account (e-commerce partnership) management and online channel strategic planning experiences are critical.
Experienced in leading complex international digital development initiatives
Knowhow of marketing strategies, tools and techniques, and understanding of consumer and shopper behavior
Good leadership skills and teamwork skills, and strong project management and roadmap prioritization skills
An understanding of the Asian retail and wholesale trade and preferably experience from and entrepreneurial environment
Language: Excellent communication skills, both oral and written and fluency in English and local language
