An integrated organization

Fiskars has a matrix organization built on operational segments - the Americas, EMEA, Wärtsilä, and a fourth for other activities - and business areas named Home, Garden, Outdoor, and Other (which includes Fiskars' Real Estate). This structure emphasizes the importance of a customer-driven business model and strongly focused business areas, while ensuring common processes and platforms across units.
